Winter 08-09

Andrew loves being outside, and winter has been no different! I'm not a fan of the cold, so he doesn't go out as often as he'd like, but we did manage to snap a few pictures of the winter fun. He loves helping Mike plow the driveway. This was his first time sledding (he likes plowing better). The snowbank that he is standing in front of has melted, but a bigger one has taken it's place. Gotta love winter in New York!

Harvest Festival

We had a very busy weekend! On Saturday we met John & Cheryl & Grandma in Kingston to go to the Harvest Festival at Adam's Fairacre Farms. Andrew fed goats, pet a baby kangaroo, and had his first pony ride. He had a wonderful time. On Sunday we went 4-wheeling, and Andrew got to play with his friend Logan who is 1 year and 2 days younger than he is. We also took some pictues of the foilage. I love New York in the fall.

Hershey Park

Andrew, Mike, Grandma and I all went to Hershey Park to visit the Virginia clan in September. We all had a wonderful time and were on a suagr high the entire time. It was great to visit with my sister and Matt and Conner. They change so much every time I see them.

Fair Time

On Labor Day weekend, we decided to go to Chatham to go the Columbia County Fair. Andrew went last year but was to young to enjoy himself. This year he had a great time and was so hyped up he wouldn't go to bed until midnight! Daddy went on the teacups with Andrew, and they had a blast. Andrew also rode the merry go round 5 or 6 times, and we all went on the ferris wheel together. Grandma was not happy about it, but Andrew had a wonderful time. I guess he likes heights more than Grandma does.
Andrew also fed the goats. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to going next year.

I can't believe summer is almost over!

Summer flew by with Mike being in school for most of it. Not much was done, but now that he's back and summer school is over we are beginning to enjoy what's left of it. Here are a few pictures that were taken over the summer. We had more landscaping done. We finally have a walkway that won't result in a law suit. This one is much safer and better looking! We planted a few hostas along side it to make it look better. Owning a house is very hard work, and never-ending! In June Mom-Mom came to visit, and we took a few pictures together. It's not everyday that you can get 4 generations together in one picture. Although we only got to see her and Uncle Jim for the day it was still a great visit.

July 2008

A lot has been going on this summer! I started summer school, and Mike has started line school. Andrew is doing great and is into everything!!! Grandma & Grandpa came down recently to see all of the landscaping we've done. We took Grandma to Bethel Woods (the Woodstock 1969 site). We got a great shot of Andrew after he climbed into one of the chairs by himself. We went to Albany at the end of June to help Uncle John celebrate his birthday. Andrew had a great time playing with his cousins, and Mike and I bought a car for his new commute.

Backyard Fun

We are enjoying our new backyard. Andrew and Tasker love having a place to run around, and Mike and I are enjoying having a SAFE place for them to run around!!! We've been spending as much time as we can outside between the thunderstorms. Andrew loves playing with bubbles and running through them. He was very proud of himself when he figured out how to make the bubble gun work.
